Honestly, I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing than using my experience to capture real, true happiness. Seriously! After 20 years of photographing weddings, I still get excited about every single one. From the quiet, emotional moments to the dance party at the reception, being part of your special day is truly my jam.
Another passion of mine? Planning. I’m all about keeping track of life’s moving parts—you should see my weekly planner! When it comes to weddings, though, planning is my FAVORITE. I planned my own wedding (in just six months!) and my sister’s wedding in 2020—yes, it was as wild as it sounds. So I GET IT. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, and my goal is to make at least the photography part of it as smooth and stress-free as possible.
With my help, we’ll create a perfect timeline that ensures stunning images while keeping your day fun and worry-free. Plus, if you need advice on other parts of your big day, I’m happy to share tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years.
My photography style is natural, with bright colors and big smiles. I love working with people in love, which is why I’ve dedicated my career to wedding photography.
When I’m not capturing love stories as a Grand Rapids photographer, you’ll find me hanging out with my two energetic pre-teen daughters, searching for a cute kitty to snuggle, or losing myself in a good book. I’m also a fan of breathtaking sunsets, cozy blankets, and tackling a 1,000-piece puzzle in my downtime, if I can find any!

Bridget and Hayden brought all their favorite people to Michigan for a gorgeous celebration at Bay Pointe Woods—and what a day it was! From the moment Bridget stepped into her ballgown, the entire day was filled with joy, laughter, and so much love.
Spending the day on beautiful Gun Lake at Bay Pointe Inn's Boathouse with these two and their blended family was such a joy. With happy tears, fall colors, and so much love, Matt and Katie’s wedding day was truly something special.
